Finally getting round to leave this review.

We spent 5 nights for Christmas at Henrhiw farm with a group of friends and family.

From the beginning of stepping inside the house , everything was wow.

Very spacious rooms with lovely and well thought of fixtures and fittings, loads of period features, tastefully decorated and with all mod cons included.

Two hot tubs, beautiful gardens surrounded by lush Green views, plenty of parking , this place has it all.

All the group enjoyed their stay and would happily return back!

My wife and I have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Granary. We booked direct, having spoken with the owner and having all of our questions answered.

The building has been restored to an exceptional standard and my wife thought the kitchen was incredible and very well equipped, in-fact probably the best assortment available including an ice bucket which allowed us to enjoy chilled drinks from the hot tub.

The property benefits from fantastic views across the fields. We were lucky enough to experience a number of clear nights during our stay which made for some excellent star gazing.

The real bonus for me was the TV package – I hadn’t realised the property comes with full SKY sports and SKY movies. It got to the point where I almost didn’t want to leave and almost missed out on all of the activities that are available locally.

There are a number of excellent pubs in the village of Usk and also a pub just a few hundreds yards along the road from the property.

Another nice bonus was the welcome hamper full of Welsh products and the waffle gowns for use around the hot tubs. The attention to detail on even the smallest of things really enhances your experience.

Overall we had a great stay, the property was spotlessly clean and we couldn’t fault a thing. We certainly wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others, in-fact we’ve already recommended to friends and family.

David was a brilliant host and really took care of us. Giving us a bunch of local information and kindly letting us tailor our check-in and check-out times.

The house is wonderful for entertaining, set in idyllic countryside with plenty of room for everyone to roam around inside and outside! It has all the amenities you’d need, and is kept to a high standard.

It easy to get to and has plenty of space to park.

The beds are quite soft, and although some of us really enjoyed sleeping on the waterbeds in the master bedrooms, they weren’t great for those of us with back issues. But we organised ourselves accordingly and comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

A perfect hen weekend! Already planning our next stay. Would highly recommend!

Henrhiw Farm is a beautiful setting near the picture-perfect town of Usk.

We chose it because it was close to our family, but also a great location for visiting Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons and many other local attractions.

The owner David was very helpful and even let all our grandchildren visit with the sheep.

It was perfect for creating some wonderful family memories, and large enough for us to spread out.
